Every podcast platform and player will read your RSS feed differently. This will cause your description or ‘show notes’ to differ slightly from platform to platform. Many do not enable links, nor do they read advanced formatting like bold, italics, bullet points etc. They also read line and paragraph breaks differently.
In addition to one platform reading your RSS feed a bit differently from another, your hosting company (Libsyn, Simplecast, etc.) may determine how your description shows up as well.
